 Were the Germans not under their own control or partially under their own control, it's difficult to weigh it up. If we say that one generation has nothing to do with the past or future then this in itself sets a dangerous precedent for a country to commit unprecedented quantities of crime as a long term plan, its a bad lesson surely. Germany during World War 2 was not just an army or a bunch of crooks etc., it was an industrial militarisation of an entire state, wasn't it, a whole country, be reasonable.
