Seither versucht er in den USA bei der Schweizerbotschaft vergebens, eine Aufenthaltsbewilligung für die Schweiz zu erhalten. Mit allen möglichen Ausreden wird er immer wieder abgewiesen und auf einen späteren Zeitpunkt vertröstet, weil sie angeblich so viel zu tun hätten und daher nicht mit ihrer Arbeit richtig zurechtkämen.
