 | Äusserst unerfreulich, doch mit etwas dieser Art musste ja wohl gerechnet werden, wie ja auch in verschiedenen anderen Hinsichten mit negativen Entwicklungen zu rechnen ist. Ich denke dabei ganz besonders an Saddam Husain und an das ehemalige Jugoslawien. Im Bezüge auf Husain denke ich, dass er noch nicht in einem Jota daran denkt, seine sogenannte ‹Schlacht aller Schlachtern› oder eben die ‹Mutter aller Schlachtern› als beendet zu betrachten. Meines Erachtens wird es nicht mehr sehr lange dauern, ehe er diesbezüglich wieder von sich reden machen wird. Er strebt noch immer unhemmbar nach unumschränkter Macht, die er auf das gesamte östliche Arabien ausdehnen möchte.
